Looks is a much better category for this.
Actually I'm thinking that it can be an extension
with a red color for blocks
New colors:

I'd rather use the scratchblocks tag btw
Aren't all extensions normally the same color?

Now that I realize it, yes…

Just so you know, I made an extension for this that everyone is free to use, just remember that projects with those blocks cannot be loaded in Scratch.

So, is that what you were suggesting? (minus the hide cursor block)

Edit: just to be clear this is a block extension not a browser extension.

That is what I was suggesting

The problem is someone could just do this even if none isn't in the drop-down (unless they specifically block that one, which might be a good idea.)
Switch cursor to (join[none][]) :: looks

Hmm, each operating system has their own designs for the cursor, and the cursor itself can be customised. Perhaps instead, hovering over each option could change the cursor directly

If we're just limiting this to the CSS cursor values (no custom cursors), then I don't think the rejection reason holds; it's fairly typical to change the cursor when hovering over buttons or the edges of resizable boxes, for example, so the built-in cursor options probably won't confuse the user. This'd probably be especially useful for point and click games to indicate what parts of the level is clickable without making it too obvious (so the user has to move their mouse around to find them), though this might encourage non-touch-friendly projects
it was basically a crappy recreation of the icons meant to symbolize how each one looks without haveing to try them all out

This feature would not change the kind of projects you can make on scratch.

TOLORS wrote:

1.10 “Control mouse pointer” block
This block, and others, could be used to hide the mouse pointer or change the way the mouse pointer looks in a project. These blocks, however, do not significantly change the types of projects that can be created with Scratch; for more information, see this post. In addition, they may cause confusion to users, wondering where the mouse pointer went. A feature to control the mouse pointer, including freezing it or preventing it from leaving the project screen, poses similar confusing problems.

hide mouse pointer :: looks
Rejected as per TOLORS.

I think Za-Chary once said that this isn't rejected.

But it's actually not rejected, only custom cursors are rejected (the normal ones are not rejected)

The ST usually uses the word mouse-pointer instead of cursor, should I change it to that
