Even for me, the colours can be confusing
I find Scratch 3.0 confusing because the colours for Events and Control have completely switched around.
when green flag clicked // used to be brown and is now yellow
wait (...) secs // used to be yellow and is now orange
(I'm not colourblind.)

Idea:
I'm not colorblind, but maybe for the people who are colorblind, you could have a colorblind mode, where it shows an icon next to the blocks for each different category; for example, looks blocks will have a picture of an eye next to them, motion will have a person walking, etc.
Sort of like extensions, like pen, which have their icons on them.

Also, there's “High contrast mode” on my chromebook, which reverses all the colours on my screen. Just a suggestion… You could put that there?

when green flag clicked
forever
if <High contrast mode helps> then
play sound [Hooray!]
end
end

I think this is a brilliant idea, and I have another feature you could add. My friend was telling me to add colour filters for people with colour identification problems. Hopefully this will make scratch better for all users!

Hmm… I think these are good! I only have a few I would change. Make Control, Operators, and Sensing darker, and make Lists closer to the orange of Variables, because they are closely related. Maybe an orange-red would do it.
So more like:
Motion :: #0000ff
Looks :: #8000ff
Sound :: #ff00ff
Pen :: #008000
Events :: #c05000
Control :: #aaaa00
Sensing :: #00aaaa
Operators :: #00aa00
Variables :: #ff8000
Lists :: #ff5000
Custom block :: #400080
Custom block input :: #800080
See how they're easier to read now?

I suggest makeing it so when the mouse hovers over a block you can here what the block says
That might get annoying really fast, especially if you were to shake your mouse. Maybe if you click on a block, it'll say its name, and if you drag it to anything, it'll say the name of whatever's above it?? Of course, it would have to be optional.

Another suggestion I'd like to bring up for this: Maybe some different audio cues for clicking on different things, like menus. I've noticed that some things have audio attached to them (like putting away blocks) in recent Scratch 3.0 snapshots, and I think that it'd be interesting to have more sounds for clicking on block categories, a quiet sound for hovering over certain buttons, and overall just more sound effects for different things to let people know what is happening on the screen without necessarily looking at it.
Now that's an idea…
Yes! Even though I don’t have vision problems, I think it would make Scratch WAY more fun.
true…
