Scratch Accessibility for Low-vision and Blind Users

I'm not colorblind, but maybe for the people who are colorblind, you could have a colorblind mode, where it shows an icon next to the blocks for each different category; for example, looks blocks will have a picture of an eye next to them, motion will have a person walking, etc.
Sort of like extensions, like pen, which have their icons on them.
Maybe there should be SPECIFIC OS DESIGN for Scratch so the user doesn't see that the colors are TOO similar

For example: for low vision users they might be like “SCRATCH IS TOO WHITE!”
So then scratch just
when I receive [a lot of a specific color v]
change [diffent colors v] effect by (25)

Maybe bring back that “Noisy blocks” checkbox from April Fool's Day 2019.

Maybe. The thing you have to understand is that colorblindness very rarely prevents one from seeing all color. The most common kinds of colorblindness just make it difficult to differentiate between two colors- ever heard of red-green colorblindness? That's when cone cells in people's eyes that see red and green light either are tuned to more similar wavelengths, or one is missing (I think it's the red one typically) and the other tries to pick up the slack but can't because it just hasn't been designed to do that. (I might have gotten some things wrong, I am by no means an expert) So they could tell blue Motion blocks from green Operators just by color. But between green Operators and red My Blocks, they might not be able to differentiate by color alone.

A lot of people are complaining about the bright colors in 3.0 and are suggesting adding a dark theme.

I think this is a great idea, so maybe for color-blind people, we added pictures to help show what color it is? Just a suggestion.
when green flag clicked
if <color-blind> then
switch costume to [ pictures for color-blind v]
else
shrug
end

I think this is amazing because I am partially colorblind and it might be permanent but it's not that bad anyway are you also going to make it so low hearing and deaf users can code scratch?
