other ideas based on the slime could be something silly but descriptive like Sludgehopper or Slimetracks or Gunk-Jumper, a synonym for green such as Jade or Olive (this type of name could be explained by a nametag it wears, which means it was named that before it was teleported?), something over-the-top like Thick-tailed Terror or Sewer Mutant or Toxic Marsupial. or we could quite simply call it The Sewer Kangaroo, it doesn't need to be complex ahaha

first of all I'm so sorry I've been so inactive my life like completely blew up in my face and then I procrastinated and then I lost motivation and then my life blew up again sdfljfdsk so things have been a little chaotic but I'm back and I'm going to make sure it doesn't happen again!

second, I am going to finish the thumbnail hopefully by the end of the week–I have most of our spidersonas drawn and the graffiti background should be pretty quick so yay!

I don't have too much time this evening so I'm going to try and cover as much as I can and then I'll try and get to anything I forgot/that takes more time tomorrow (like my villain description kjflsd)

i think we should drop the polar bear—we have a lot to do and camp starts soon, so i think we should prioritise everything else (and the polar bear was only a backup villain anyway), thoughts?

explanation of the designs:
arson —i didn’t draw her close up as the shadowed figure (in the centre of the explosion) could hint at the reveal and build mystery ;D also the campers wouldn’t be seeing her up close anyway since she explodes things instead of close combat ehehe
pirate — their pirate ship can fly now since i forgot to draw the rest of the background but also flying pirates are cool bahaha! we also never figured out who would write this bio—does anyone want to? (i can if no one else is keen, but i want to give yall more opportunities since i’m designing all the major villains visuals <33)
kangarooze —i kind of went crazy with the green slime and menacing lighting :zany: also amber i’ll add the silly thing to the pouch once you brainstorm what it is
dragon — i was about to draw a stereotypical dragon but green but then i realised NO THAT’S BORING we should have a creative dragon!! so this dragon design combines the stereotypical aspects of both western and eastern dragons, as well as characteristics of certain green animals—the chameleon (coiled tail, casque—except the dragon’s casque is filled with fire) and the luna moth (wings!!). this means it’s kind of complicated to draw (sorry!) but it can be easily simplified—the scales and the pattern/detail on the moth wings are both optional, for example <3

it's also easier to come up with only one location and thumbnail lksjdf :zany: but if you have counterarguments feel free to voice them! we just need to decide and take action quickly

also, i collected the challenge ideas we’ve thought of:
dragon - negotiating, and writing challenges to swap the motivational mangoes she’s hoarded for words! campers have to strike a deal with the dragon (through rp?)—the dragon wants to start collecting words so it makes campers write some things from prompts and eventually decides motivated campers are far better than unmotivated ones and gives the mangoes back, deciding to help out the campers! it then becomes the mascot
pirate - game of battleships, with the opponent being the pirate villain! (perhaps they have a fleet of boats and campers don’t know which one the collider piece they need is on, so have to find all of the boats, therefore explaining why battleships is the challenge? also at least one of the boats has to fly!!)
arson - defusing a bomb with colour-coded clues (can i work on this one :pleading: )
incorporeal - hard to see and impossible to hit, campers have to figure out how to defeat something that they can't touch ✨ (perhaps they have to write a persuasive piece to get it to go away? or some poems? or both?) we didn’t get very far on this one lol
kangaroo - sewer is set up like a maze with puzzles, campers have to get through it to find and capture the kangaroo

since I’m going to be drawing these, I want to make and share a project around the 5th? okay here is my villain description! Their placeholder name is Phase, we can keep it or we can change it! lmk if you like it ahaha

Reports have been coming in about attacks and chaos all around the SWCity–while this is not unusual, several events have been linked to a mysterious individual known only as Phase. Seemingly a ghost, Phase can move through walls and disappear without a trace in an instant. They must be defeated to save the city, but how can you fight someone you can't even touch?
Extensive research has been done on Phase, but there were no leads until authorities went through the files of Dr. Skyler themself. Skyler had looked into Phase's dimension thoroughly before the collider incident. Phase is from a place where the physical and nonphysical worlds blend together, and Phase has the power to manipulate both. Along with a chaotic personality and a big grudge, they are a formidable enemy that can't be taken down the normal way… but they must be defeated, or the SWCity will fall at their hands.
