No support. If the website changes to scratch.fun (probably) every school district won’t trust the website anymore and stop using it for education (what Scratch is mainly used for).

Also:
It's already taken.

Nah, Scratch is for educational purposes, so .edu is the one that fits most.
And .fun has a big chance it will be blocked in school, like older posts said.
Scratch.fun is also taken, looks like a scratch card website

your logic here is “just because one person is kind that doesn't mean every person is kind”just because one website using it is safe doesn't mean every website using it is safeneal.fun is safe sorry but I would never trust a .fun domain sounds to scammy no support
While that is true, not every person is kind,
that doesn't mean by default, people are usually rude.
Just like domains, “fun” is simply a TLD, and while it might have a few more scam websites because the domain is usually cheaper for the first year, it doesn't mean anything over 30% of all websites using it are unsafe.

change it to scratch.fun or something that isnt taken already
because .fun is a fun domain name
and on purple website starting with H it's only 0.99 euros for the first year
Scratch is run by MIT, or the Massachussetts Institute of Technology, a prestigious university, that already owns the mit.edu domain. It wouldn’t make sense to change the domain name, and it may sound like a scam. (How many legit websites use .fun?)
Edit: I know I literally just repeated what y’all have been saying already. But here you go in one post.

You do some research. Both meanings are correct. You can't also register a .edu site if you aren't an educational institution.no its not Idk why people always say .edu means educational, it means a SCHOOL OWNS the site.
do some resarches
MIT stands for Massachussetts Institute of Technology, a prestigious school that would laugh in your face if you asked them to change their website to mit.fun. also i suport its fun and it can be scratch.mit.fun and also maybe instead of shanging edu add fun like love and pizza and org
Remember, if you change Scratch's website, you'd also have to change MIT's website.
