Just keep posting, commenting, and making projects and you'll be well on your way Do you have to keep posting comments on the forums to be counted as ‘active?’
I've only made my profile for a month… is that enough?

Hmm. Not stoppable? how about something new? like some confusiong sentice FRUIT FLIES (the fly) like a banana, then ask the bot about it, or type in a missing word in faomus phrase? like rock and ****? input the missing letters… or a 3 question test that would be bot proof? From what I see, your account has only been registered for about 2 weeks.Restrictions
- Can't use cloud data
- No signature (?)
- Have to wait longer between posts
- Can't edit/delete own posts
Ticks me off because I've been using the software for years, and just never got around to making a Scratch accountd, so when I do I get restrictions placed on my account??????
And if the problem is “bots” then how about solving that with an anti-bot mechanism (eg. CAPTCHA)?
Also, I have plenty of experience in trying to stop bots, and they have been able to get around CAPTCHAs and almost everything I put in their way. And even if there were a mechanism to stop every single bot, this wouldn't stop a real person from creating an account and trolling the website. While this system is kind of annoying, it has been extremely effective.Thank you for letting me know - the topic post has been updated accordingly. Let me tell you - You cannot input the signature if the rank is New Scratcher.

I think this “New Scratcher” system works well to reduce spam, but I really hope that cloud variables could be open to everyone. I really wanted to experiment with some things, but as I'm still “New to Scratch”, I've been slightly hindered.
Oh well, I guess there has to be a reason for it!

However, as I said above, since this site is proprietary, I think we should stop speculating and just be active.

Well, I think it would be cool if there were different names for your status thing, such as “Pro Scratcher” instead of “Scratcher”.

Does anyone know exactly what are the requirements to become a Scratcher?
BTW, please search ‘Bloons Tower Defence Apocalypse Version 2’ into the project search! :-)
