yes you can have signature, first hit the discuss button at the very top, then scroll all they way down and look for change my signature

What about legitimate new scratchers? Instead of using this I suggest finding a way of limiting each person (or maybe given email) to two accounts.

Thanks! Even though I wasn't a New Scratcher ever, because I had an accout before 2.0 came out I still didn't really get how his works.

I've been in the community for one month, made 2 projects, used cloud variables ( which I still can't use, even in my own game!) comment all the time, participated in discussion posts ( like this one), curated one studio that isn't my own, participated in a studio, had a couple loves and favorites, but still am not a scratcher!!!! This is definitely not normal. Do I have to make more projects

Go to discussion home and scroll down. Then, click on “change your signature” on the lower left.

I think it would be a good idea to make as many projects as you can.
Make tons of projects, comments, and more discussion posts, and maybe you will become a Scratcher.

Ticks me off because I've been using the software for years, and just never got around to making a Scratch accountd, so when I do I get restrictions placed on my account??????

And if the problem is “bots” then how about solving that with an anti-bot mechanism (eg. CAPTCHA)?
