I think It would be a good idea, but there's a problem. the St may take it down . Along with having a risk of getting reported by Putin Supporters. Recommended we should keep this thing on a ‘low profile’ . For the time being we could just write: “Ukraine is being Invaded by Russia. A lot of people including Indians and Foreigners are trapped in Ukraine . We made this studio to express our support towards Ukraine and its citizens . Let us pray for the Ukrainians and hope peace and happiness will be restored in this conflict . Add projects related to Ukraine support and let us hope this conflict will end soon as a lot of families are trying the best to flee from there. Invite your followers to spread the word. Scratch one! #PrayForUkraine #WeSupportUkraine ”

Yes, but the emoticon I propose is supposed to symbolize the broadly understood peace in various contexts, not just the conflict in Ukraine. It is very neutral and it is written in simple terms. #StandWithUkraine

I think this is a good idea!

Personally, I don't use the Scratch emoticons and have no opinion on adding new ones. But, I'd like to point out that you can always use Unicode characters, such as:
☮ U+262E Peace Symbol
✌️ U+270C Victory Hand

I think that’s a nice idea I personally just put the Ukrainian background for two reasons: I don’t mean to make any political stuff when using it, I just want to spread awareness of what is happening. I usually wouldn’t put this kind of pfp, but my background is Ukrainian, so what is happening is more close to me than it may be for others, so I just want people to support my parents’ home country. But like I said, this is a really good idea

Maybe just a plain peace sign.

Tbh i agree with you. I have NO idea abt the politics but I hate wars as they not only harm the countries involved but also harm the others. I hope there will be peace again and that's a great idea!

I know that, but in this case I wanted to create a new icon that would symbolize peace on earth. In the previous “posts” on this thread, there were a few emoticon design s on the forum as this might look like. But anyway, thanks for your opinion

I was thinking about Earth shaped like a heart or peace sign, or about symbols of peace around the Earth. On pages 1 and 2 of this thread you can see prototypes of this icon.

Yes I think it would be a good Idea, to make an emoticon based on world peace. I really do not understand this political stuff though, like honestly, who would be so desperate for power, that they would do something to start a literal world war!? But yeah, I agree I think it ur suggestion is valid.

Ukraine is the talk of the town, EVERYONE is “writing” about Ukraine, EVERYONE knows about Ukraine, there isnt much too add, everything has been said. And quite frankly, Ukraine is pretty darned negative, nobody wants to think about the awful atrocities Russia is commiting, it isnt fun, its depressing, its tiring, and not that well fitting in a wholesome kids site about teaching people who wouldn't have otherwise been exposed to it coding.

TL;DR: Ukraine is too negative for scratch
