Support. @RacingAce changed her username due to her old one containing her deadname. Someone made an account with her old username, and impersonated her for a while. Like some said, it could also be used to dox

Support. @RacingAce changed her username due to her old one containing her deadname. Someone made an account with her old username, and impersonated her for a while. Like some said, it could also be used to doxI literally had to google up what deadname even means!

Don't recycle usernames after a username change
changing usernames normally can't be done on Scratch unless the old username is against the rules (bad words, revealing to much info, etc.), so why do they even recycle usernames in the first place?

Support. I thought this was already implemented. I can see how tricky it would be if someone made a new account with a recycled username and started receiving comments/studio invites related to the person whose username it was before they took it. This could also lead to impersonation if a famous Scratcher was transgender, and their old username was their old gender. That could lead to someone impersonating with the recycled username and saying they changed their mind. There are so many problems arising from recycling usernames. That's why I support
