No support, there is a small amount that actually chase fame, and if this was added, there'd be a bunch of projects that show people how to find follower counts.

I don't see how this would have much of an effect. There are public counts for most things on Scratch, and they very rarely seem to be the problem or cause trouble, plus there are many other ways to find a follower count, this just makes it a little easier having a public count. No support.

No support, scratch is about coding, not fame. I should suggest ST to raise 3 to 5 tags limit per project (which is not completely retired in scratch).
While scratch is unlike social media, deleting public followers is not recommended.
Fill up 5 rejected suggestions (read carefully in https://scratch-mit-edu.ezproxyberklee.flo.org/discuss/topic/343602/ before adding taken rejected suggestions (1.5 cloud lists, 1.4 social action blocks are taken rejected suggestions)).

i think i can see where you are coming from, but i don't really agree. sometimes, if i see a random person's project, i will check if they are popular or not. then i will try and support them through their journey through scratch. i like helping people get popular so they don't really feel excluded. this will kinda ruin my uhm, what would i call it… streak i guess? idk not like bragging tho.

-It might still be possible to find out how many followers you have.
-People won't stop advertising, because they still want attention, even if not followers.
-A lot of people would be annoyed by this.
-Websites like ScratchStats would probably still work.
-Projects that celebrate the 10K followers etc. might confuse some New Scratchers.
-People would start complaining about the ST more than ever before. Riots would probably start, as well as petitions, suggestions, etc.

I mean, if this was implemented, people would just use the number of pages of followers that they have, use how many followers appear on a full page to figure it out, and also the last page.

Semi-Support. If you're insecure about this kind of thing, then it would be an easy fix, but it should be an optional feature, as some people (myself included) are proud of the following they've built and want others to see it
