Welcome to the Bugs and Glitches Forum Directory. Here, you can find all the bugs and glitches imaginable! To go through this list, please type ctrl+F and search for your desired bug/glitch. Search have no results? Create a new topic for it! Unfortunately, I'm not as cool as banana439monkey and most likely can't update this list automatically (though I'll try). Please check out the Adding A Topic section and fill out the simple form to add a topic. All outdated/fixed bugs and glitches will be moved to the Bugs and Glitches Archive. If there is still a topic on the main directory list that is either resolved or outdated, please let me know so I can move it.

Quick Fixes

Quick Fixes are for problems that aren't really bugs, but may seem like it. Here are some solutions that other Scratchers suggest to use to solve these issues!

Remember that this form is for quick fixes, not to report bugs.

My project won't save
This might just be caused by a bad internet connection, so wait a few minutes and try again.
If you have a large amount of data in lists this may cause the project not to save. Try emptying the lists.
If nothing else works, download your project so you don't lose your work.
stickfiregames did not specify who added this, so I'll credit them.
This might also be because you are on the wrong account. If you open a project on one account, switch to another account with the project still open, and continue to edit the project, it will not be able to save because you are using the wrong account. Simply switch back to the account that the project is on to be able to save it.

Another issue could be the 10 mb sound limit. If your project exceeds this amount of sound, it won't save. To save, simply remove the excess sound and press save again.

A variable keeps coming back when I delete it
Make sure there are no blocks that still reference the variable. If Scratch finds a block for a variable that doesn't exist it recreates it.
If it's a cloud variable, the server may be out of sync with the project. Go here.

I don't have permission to add someone to my studio
The person you are trying to add has not confirmed their email address, so they are not allowed to curate studios. It has nothing to do with YOUR permissions.

This error also occurs when you try to mass-invite people. Simply wait a few moments and then try again.

Can anyone explain why there is a Mouse-pointer glitch?
Like this:

when backdrop switches to [ v]

if <touching [ mouse pointer] ?> then
switch costume to [ ]

What message/page is showing up when you try to share a project/post comments?

Hello, Um, Scratch is signing me out over and over again, When i try to look at the comments on a studio it freezes and then signs me out.
