The Official List of Rejected Suggestions
I agree with the rejection of “Remove the Location” because some people, like me, don't want where they live revealed, but they want people to know if they have relation to cool places, like me, for example, I'm not from Czech Republic, but I am part Czech.
if <you want to keep your location hidden> then
say [I'm from Czech] for (2) secs
else
say [Your real location] for (2) secs
end
when I receive [ a note saying CHECK OUT MY PROJECTS]
go to [ My profile ]

This is the alphabet reporter block, right? I don't think it needs to be added to the list at this time because it hasn't really been suggested enough times for it to warrant being added. My topic got rejected.quote Interesting idea! But we don't see it as being useful enough to the few advanced Scratchers that would find it handy to earn a place in the Scratch block vocabulary. One of the main goals of Scratch it to keep it easy to learn - and that means keeping the number of blocks as small possible. Also, it seems like there are work-arounds that aren't all that onerous. Thanks for the suggestion though.
I will link it down soon as I need to Eat

I disagree with you, sharing your country doesn't spoil where you EXACTLY live. I agree with the rejection of “Remove the Location” because some people, like me, don't want where they live revealed, but they want people to know if they have relation to cool places, like me, for example, I'm not from Czech Republic, but I am part Czech.

-snip-So the idea with this topic is that it's the Scratch Team who rejected these topics, not me. Feel free to share your opinions about these rejected suggestions, but the truth is that they are officially rejected and will not be implemented by the Scratch Team.
For #3, this is necessary to uphold the ideas of Scratch as a sort of collaborative programming website. If you don't want people to see inside your project, don't share it on the Scratch website. You might consider embedding the project on another website instead.
For #4, people can say their opinion as long as it is respectful. Saying “this project is bad” is rather rude and disrespectful, and is in fact against the Community Guidelines. People can have opinions on Scratch as long as they are kept respectful and they do not exclude other groups of people.

-snip-These descriptions were more or less reworded from previous topics.
To my knowledge, there has been no instances of “hacking” projects on Scratch. If someone clicks “See Inside”, the changes they make will not be saved to your project. Other than that, there's not much I can say about #3 that I haven't already said. Sorry, this is rejected — feel free to ask a Scratch Team member for more information — they'd know more than I would.
I fail to see how a dislike button could be negatively constructive. In fact, I'd say that a dislike button is not constructive at all, because if someone leaves a dislike, then they don't necessarily tell the creator what they could have done better. It just leads to lowering someone's self-esteem.

-snip-1. Sure, but it's different in a way.
2. Not really… It's more you grow immune, or you are less skeptical, it can really damage someone though.
3. Children shouldn't be able to play a T rated horror game when they are 0-10.
4. Scary graphics mean different things for everyone, take for example, to some the scratch design is scary and they wouldn't want their kids to go near it, but someone else would be just fine.
5. That's because the older people know that they shouldn't make horror games.
6. There are actually some bad things that can happen from a “good scare”. Someone could injury themselves, or even die.
7. If you want “truly scary” characters then play the actual game.
8. All of those games are T+ and shouldn't be played by a 0-10 without parental consent.

Hello, this is MrYesMan2989, and I have a suggestion, can you make Scratch a mobile internet app? Not just the offline editor, but the original 3.0 internet app? I won't be made if you guys can't, please answer, thanks.

Please don't post your suggestions here. You should make a new topic instead, that way more people will see it. Can there be a block where if sprite touches this, like a door, then you move to the next backdrop? if there is, please tell me about the code. I want to make my game better. Thanks!

If you want to check out my game it's here. (in alpha)

The Official List of Rejected Suggestions
I will likely be adding “Remove the Community Guidelines, Terms of Use, or the Rejected Suggestions Sticky” based on these three topics:
https://scratch-mit-edu.ezproxyberklee.flo.org/discuss/topic/340637/?page=1#post-3439992
https://scratch-mit-edu.ezproxyberklee.flo.org/discuss/topic/343567/?page=4#post-3468106
https://scratch-mit-edu.ezproxyberklee.flo.org/discuss/topic/346030/?page=3#post-3493083
Although the third one is a joke topic, I still think it could be considered rejected, unless anyone has any ideas otherwise.
To clarify, this would just be one rejected suggestion (i.e. it would take up only one spot on the list). Essentially I'd be saying that Scratch has certain rules and regulations in order for it to be a safe and appropriate website, and that if you don't agree with these, then you don't have to use Scratch.
It'll take a few days to add it, though, because I am currently revising the order of the entire list.

All suggestions in this list have been rejected. So, What Proects Exacly Were Rejected?
You can make any project on Scratch that follows the Community Guidelines. Is there anything in particular you have a question about?

There is so many improvments to the website that have been rejected. Private messaging can allow people to talk about real life or things that could be innapropriate with out upsetting anyone. You will be able to report private messages. A block funcion is the best solution to the problem to people harassing others because its never going to be fixed and this is the best way to fix a difficult issue

Private messaging could also allow people to insult other people and ask them to meet up in real life — a huge safety issue! There is so many improvments to the website that have been rejected. Blocking someone doesn't help solve the problem because the Scratch Team won't do anything about it. If someone is harassing you, then you should report them so the Scratch Team can look into it and take the necessary actions.
I do think blocking could be useful in some form — but I agree with the Scratch Team's decision. I also don't see private messaging working on Scratch, mainly due to the safety issues.
