An option to convert to javascript has been requested multiple times, and it just got rejected:

Thanks for letting me know. This does look like something that has been requested very commonly, so I'll add it to the list.

Hello! While it is an intriguing suggestion, every time we have debated it among the Scratch Team, we've always came to the same conclusion - it's not a feature that would benefit beginning programmers and it would serve as a distraction for those trying to teach Scratch to them. So, regretfully, this suggestion is rejected.
It wasn't quite for converting to JS, just to make a text based scratch thingamajig. But yeah it did get rejected.

Unless mentioned otherwise by a Scratch Team member, I'm going to assume that coding Scratch in any form of text is rejected. This would include Javascript, other languages like Python or C, some form of pseudocode, or BBCode.

yeah, but I was just clarifying that it wasn't specifically JS, but more so that a Scratch to text or vise versa is rejected

No problem! I think the Scratch Team has their reasons, though — I think every single suggestion on this list has a good reason to be rejected.

I was re-reading this because I was checking if a certain suggestion was rejected or not, and I saw #39. Would this topic be rejected because it is suggesting an active/inactive indicator?

Good question. I'm not exactly sure. It also looks a bit like #26 (show when users are banned). However, I'd wait until a Scratch Team member officially closes the topic before I add it to the list. It would probably go under an existing rejected suggestion.

Alright, thanks for the info.

The clone limit is 300, not 301. (oddly enough I just tested it and it was 301 in 2.0)

Is that so? I will change it then — thanks for clarifying.

Not rejected. That was an April Fool's Day topic, so the suggestion was not genuine. The reason it was closed was because some users did not realize it was meant to be a joke.

I mean, they're probably not going to implement it anyway…but it doesn't need to be added to the list.

No worries, I understand. I put the quoted reasons if a Scratch Team member fully explains why a suggestion is rejected. I can't necessarily do that with all the suggestions — either I can't find the quoted reasons why, or I think I could explain it a little better or with more detail than Scratch Team members have done. I think I've done a pretty good job already, but I do hope I'm not misquoting anything.

Yeah, doesn't look like you missed anything but maybe change the formatting of the proof

Very good and complete ! I think you can just add one thing: allow the black lists in projects ^^
Some scratchers (me or my friend @bidulule for example, but a lot of others too) had problems with that, and the ST told us that they don't want to change that ^^
Good list else, I'll tell you if I trust something else ^^ (Maybe on the French topics? idk)
