Depending on Popularity, a Scratcher with 1K of Followers usually stays on the First Page, new ones almost never

Looks like a good message!
It could have helped a lot of people!
You could have also added how their projects should start off.

It takes a little bit. If you add your project to lots of studios (that allow you to do that, like Add Anythings) people will see it and hopefully will love and favourite it! Then this happens again and again until lots of people have seen your project.
If people follow you, they desperate to get the latest content from you!

How about you include the “Explanation of the New Scratcher Status” topic?

Also, I see that you last posted on July 16 2018. If you like, I would be happy to take on the responsibility of creating a new and updated version of this helpful thread.

I once was a new scratcher, and a few weeks later I was a Scratcher. And I can't tell you how happy I was!

Yes, that's true, but don't advertise on projects where they tell you not to. It's not fair to advertise on peoples' famous/popular projects and try to take the glory. So only do it if the person who made the project lets you.

Good Question! Technically, it depends. Sometimes your project is a big hit and gets 1,678 views the next day… or, it may not and take a year. Like me. I have a project called Advanced Camera Clock that I made last year. And now it's kinda popular! Like my The Gambler project, I made it long ago but now it has, like, multi-hundred views!

I think to make art that is considered “good” can be many different things and for many different reasons. Like @Derp_Animation has simple but neat art, @Leilani has pretty art, and so does @Rosyda , because of cute art. So, there are many different “genres” of art, so in my opinion, if you try, that's all that counts.

Imagine this scenario:
Caleb: Hey, Jessie.
Jessie: Yes, Caleb?
Caleb: What would you do to get noticed on scratch?
~YOU~ tell me what you would do/are doing to get noticed on scratch

Note: Caleb and Jessie are fake characters used in this commenting

This thread probably isn't the best place to ask this, but you could tell others about your projects in your forum signature or in the Show and Tell forum.

I have some tips for new Scratchers!

- Scratch is a great place to make new friends! Once you get the email confirmed, say Hi on some people’s profiles!
- For your first project, make a Welcome project. This is a great project to get comfortable with coding. Include some facts about you!
- To meet more people with your same interests, make or join studios!

Hope these help someone

Well, some people (like me) find it a bit hard to draw with a mouse or just draw on Scratch in general. So I reccomdn having another art software to draw art and then import it into Scratch. For example, I usually draw on paper or use Brushes Redux and then either take a picture of it (if it’s on paper) or put it into Scratch (if done on digital).

Hi!! I’m new to scratch can somebody check out my newest animation? I don’t know if it’s good for a beginner but I really hope it is since it took me a while to do the animation. https://scratch-mit-edu.ezproxyberklee.flo.org/projects/309638880/
