That's not particularly related. Scratch is inherently competitive, they just said they didn't want to “sponsor competitive events”.

I don't think I've supported a suggestion since March.

And it's not the “easiest” way. If you describe why you like the suggestion it should be clear that you need to write out “support”.

alright saying no support there is a workaround I think is fine for an example the point towards x y z block there is an easy woraround.
