Oh, here's something I want to tell you all about Arowana Mall.

Ok, so there's this UK streamer I started watching on twitch called Tarolg (wait don't go unless you're…very mature and 12+/past kid range) who absoltuely HATED Arowana Mall, cuz he's a roller main and the map ‘promotes camping.’ But then, he found the greatest strategy of all time: (he does still hate it but when he found the strat it was HYSTERICAL)
Step 1: play as the normal splat roller and invest all gear in either your special or (and mostly) in bomb range/ink use/ink recovery
Step 2: go to the right at the beginning of the match and get to the small platform with that rectangle wall
Step 2.5 (optional): go into recon mode (press Y in he multiplayer lobby) and practice throwing bombs into the zone and into the areas where enemies might be (other camp spots, the other ledge area)
Step 3: during the match, spam bombs into the zone and anywhere that there are problems
Step 4: also, check the minimap to see if enemies are coming to destroy your camp spot (oh wait, you have a one-shotting roller)
Step 5: angle your killer wail so it messes up other campers
Step 6: to avoid inkzooka not coming from the side, hug the wall; to avoid inkstrike, jump off and get right back up there
Step 7: profit

Are you seeing what this does? This allows you to safely put pressure on almost all other camp spots, cover decent portions of the zone with ease and without fear of getting hit, and force your opponets to waste their specials on you, and their efforts will be futile anyway. On top of that, they will probably eventually be forced to send multiple people to take you down, giving your teammates a HUGE advantage.
