Scratch in 3D. The possibilities…

Imagine if Scratch could have 3D apps. Not movie 3D, but first-person 3D games or flight simulators or much more. And all of this could be done by kids, kids that don't know how to program, but they can still make games.

You can already make 3D things in Scratch, it's just a little difficult.

Full 3D in Scratch will never be implemented, as has been said many times.

if you could make a scratch in 3d it would make it more fun becouse now we are only making old school games en ofcourse it would make a game easyer to program becouse if you putt it i9n 2d en you want to make a 3d it needs so many imposible formula's that non expiriants can make it. so how about it than we could finely be more making than only one thing

It wouldn't be easy… programming would be much more complicated.

Yeah, ‘dreamod’ (I think that's his username) is creating a 3D scratch, but it's for 1.4 and he's had to restart due to it being corrupted. But it SHOULD come in time!

You can create the illusion of 3d pretty easily.

if you say that it isn't little work you can see on my profile it has sayd about me i dont weat to put to mutch work in it so just 3d should be fine if its prepeared for you in a 3d function or maybe if you would listn vto a 3d box with for example (X,Y,Z) coordinates thats mutch morew easy to do en it would make 3d easy if you could place the scracters (sprites) in a page of 3d en put difrend lares of a part of the boddy like fore example the fact of most games make program is in that way done in the other way you could make ilusions thow that is a lot of work in that bisness im not home in tyhe first i am.

if you would say it thow it doesnt have to be more complicated there are more easy ways to make it easy and still 3d for example you can make it in such a way that you kan move the sprites on the screen in <-or -> as long as you don't turn the screen en you could also make the coordinates (X,Y,Z) en you kan think of infinit ways to make it easy just look or overlook the fact thow it can always in an easy way on the programing world

Are you thinking games like minecraft?
That is still near impossible. You can't just morph objects… you have to draw them your self in every costume you want or some how use advanced programming to render. If you want to know 3D, look up Java for now, or Unity.

You'll have to be patient but I will prioritize this project
There is a version of Squeak which has a sort of Alice-like implemtation. I'm going to be using that to make it. More detail is available on the Z-cloud topic.
