Has anyone had any luck with synchronising music (played using the built-in instruments) and drums?

I have a green flag script that plays the rhythm, and another green flag script that plays the notes to the tune.

The timings seem to be very sensitive. When I ran my rhythm inside a loop, the timing drifted from the melody, presumably because the loop was slowing it down. When I use most types of drum (except 37), the timings drift too, presumably because the sound takes longer to play than the beat.

Does anyone have any tips to offer? This was in Scratch 1.4, by the way.

Should be easy. Have this, although doesn't use drums. You just need to ensure the beats and tempo are synchronised.
