Hi, this may be really simple, but we are trying to figure out how to do a cross-fade of background images. This would be upon pressing a button, and we already know how to send and receive inputs. Thanks!

You can fade out and fade in background images using the ghost effect but it won't be a cross fade, the only way to achieve that would be to use sprites.

This does the background fading but as mentioned won't cross-fade unless you used sprites.
