On the Scratch website, people fight over it. There's going to be a whole lot of spam comments on project here if the comment system like this continues, because of this.

this is not a huge problem. just flag them all as spam and it will eventually stop

I think once people realize that having the current “lowest” comment isn't so special, and won't forever be the lowest, they'll stop trying to get the lowest.

The “Lowest” thing has kind of died out now… Wasn't that a couple months ago when it was really popular anyways?

I think the 2.0 system deals with the problem pretty well. There is no “lowest” comment as new comments always show up lower than the last. So, hopefully, this will become a thing of the past.

Yeah. People might try it for a few weeks, but then realize it doesn't work.
