In 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023 Scratch added Cat Blocks for April Fools' Day. According to the Scratch Wiki, it doesn't mention that cat blocks were added in 2024. This means Scratch doesn't add cat blocks in 2024. Why they don't add them in 2024? I'm just curious to see the answer.

I honestly have no idea, but I'm wondering if it was because they didn't have time to make a high contrast equivalent, and they didn't make any PRs to bring it back to the editor.
Also, yea, they didn't have it. There wasn't anything in April Fools in 2024 other than the stuff that already appeared automatically based on your date, and the AFD forums didn't come back because of spam in previous years

The cat blocks were created by the Scratch Team as a part of April Fools' Day, where some Scratch blocks like the one below had cat ears and a face on them. Many Scratchers adored the cat blocks and have suggested that the Scratch Team permanently keep them in the editor, or otherwise make a permanent toggle so users can turn them on or off. However, the cat blocks were intended to be temporary, and the Scratch Team has stated that they do not plan to bring them back as a permanent option. However, it is possible that they may temporarily come back during future April Fools' Day events.

Well, they are against the rules because it's NOT easy to tell if the browser extension is safe or harmful.
