I know this sound like a weird question but I have been on scratch for 2 months and the cloud is still down. I just want to know why it is down. What it was like when when they worked? Like would you be playing with other people? And when did the cloud variables stop working and what caused them to stop working?

The Scratch Team is well aware of this glitch. Currently there is nothing we can do but wait for it to be fixed and I don't think anyone knows what is causing this issue. ( I think this started a few months ago and yes before this glitch you would be able to play multiplayer projects with other people )

Depends on the project or game. There are indeed some multiplayer games that are now broken. There are also many games that use cloud variables to store the best score or a leaderboard.

They didn’t ask what to do… they asked what it was like.

OP: It was virtually the same. The only difference is that a lot of cloud games don’t work and more people are complaining on the forums.

you can still use https://turbowarp.org/, a scratch mod that fixes cloud variables (among other things).
