It's actually a reference to the fact she has a poster of Spider-Man in the 1610. It can actually be seen at the start of the Clone-Saga arc. Originally Spider-Man played a role in the comic (UXM #1) but that got altered

Liz Allan's role was supposed to be done by Gwen Stacy. But that got changed to move X-Men (specifically Kitty) away from Spider-Man. I did consider Jessica Jones but Liz I thought worked better.

You should save Jessica Jones for if you ever introduce Miles Morales, her involvement in his story after the secret wars merge was weird but kind of fun lol

To anyone wondering characters like Nightcrawler and Ice Man will have more development in later issues I just wasn't able to focus on them.

Hi everyone, good to see the forum's up and running again.

I've successfully relocated to New York now so my schedule is much better, I haven't been working consistently on Venom #4 but I do come in and draw a few panels every now and then, mostly just to relax, so eventually that will come out.

I always find it a little weird when people are fans of superheroes in the Marvel and DC universes in the same way people are fans of superheroes in the real world. People are writing the equivalent of Pete Buttigieg fanfiction in the Marvel universe.

Thinking on it the Scarlet Witch poster seen is a bit odd.
