Why does it load forever when I upload a video converted to a GIF to scratch!?

I am currently working on a tutorial on this tutor profile. My style of tutorial is like a video, but actually a GIF with prerecorded sound on a scratch project. My strategy is to first record my screen while I am making my tutorial. Then, I convert the video to a GIF. Here's the problem: when I open a new scratch project, delete the preexisting cat, then click the upload sprite button and press my GIF, it takes a HORRENDOUS amount of time to load. It just says it's uploading. I tried multiple methods like staying on the same tab, trying different converter websites, and some stuff I don't even know like changing the framerate and aspect ratios. But the message is always the same thing saying it's uploading and eventually disappears and nothing happens. I don't see my GIF! Please help me!

The issue is most likely just a limitation of scratch, and so I'd recommend that instead of screen recording a video, you make an interactive tutorial that shows everything on screen just the way you'd like it to. Sorry if this doesn't help.

As (Mostly, I Think) Everyone Knows By Now, Scratch Project Files (AS OF 3.0) Has An Asset File Limit, With That Being Under 10 MB, While The JSON Must Be 5 MB, But As The Wiki Says:

“There is no explicit limit on project file size, but with the (otherwise) smallest possible project containing as many assets as possible, the largest a project can be while remaining within the explicit limits is 70,847 assets (708 GB, or 660 GiB).”

So Yeah
