HELLO THEREEE!!!

this is the discussion thread for my math classes studio, and whether you want more info or want to join (please do!!)- you're in the right place.

here- i'll be coordinating everyone who's joined and conduct the classes. i'll be making a summary handout of the topics to learn on this thread every week which you'll have to go through, and then practice questions (which will also be on this thread).

this is for all grades, as we'll start from the basics and slowly level up. if you need help with school math or even olympiad math, feel free to ask here!! i'll make sure to answer all your questions!!

on joining, i'll send you an invite to become a curator of the math studio i've made- where you can add *all* sorts of math-related projects!! (hoping we can get the studio to the front page one day)

~week 1~

★ let's master mental math first. we'll cover this over the next few weeks, before we begin anything new. ★

aim: learn multiplication tables

–> this may sound tedious, but in order to actually do better in math, you've got to get better at calculating things fast! and one of the most *time-taking* and *annoying* calculations is MULTIPLICATION, for sure.
–> i'm not going to ask you to memorize every single table there is to exist (cause, obviously- that's INFINITE ); instead, we're going to do tables from 12 to 19.

how will we do it?:

–> take as many blank sheets you need, write the tables and stick them to your wall. yep, that's right- you've gotto do manual work. it takes *a lot* of hard work to score well!
–> mug it up. if you're still in middle school, you don't know how much you'll be needing it in highschool. and if you're in highschool, well- start mugging! stare at it all day and you'll be all set.

★ practice problems won't be there for mental math, just pick up any random table and recite, or ask a friend to quiz you! ★
