woo! with that out of the way, congrats and welcome to the swc march 2025 action planning forum! i know weve met (otherwise you wouldnt be here XD) but hi! im iris/ris! im your leader this session and this will be my *drumroll* NINTH swc session and fourth time leading! im Christian, i love cats, taylor swift, speech, and yeah! im so hyped for this session!!!

storyline
our storyline is based off of the spider-verse movies! if you havent seen them, i HIGHLY recommend watching them!!
the campers are on a field trip when they stumble by and accidentally activate the collider. every single radioactive spider (and villian) are transported into their universe. theyre then bitten by the radioactive spiders and they become spider-heroes! with that, they must learn who did this to them and fight against villains. everything would lead to one final battle/event and yeah! this is gonna be a very interactive choose your own adventure type cabin with lots of character creation involved eeeeeeeee

lol okay so there are different universes and each universe has a different spiderhero and such and each is labeled by a number! for example, in spiderverse movies, miles' universe is “E-1610” :D

What kind of vibe/theme are we going for as a cabin? Maybe we could do neon colors, like red, blue, purple, blue, black, etc.

sounds perfect! you can use whatever youd like to make them- its really up to you!

we'll figure out descs closer to the time camp starts but for a temporary one how about:

okay so a few things id like to discuss/let you know before we get too far into cabin planning:
1. i am currently on vacation so my activity will probably be rather spotty until mondayish but ill still to my best to check in every night. this also means i am 4 hours behind you two right now XD
2. id like to only have one word count group and use a spreadsheet to add words! this is completely anonymous and this way itll be super easy to manage and add words
3. id like to get our cabin atmosphere and symbol done sooner rather than later so heres what we all wrote for atmospheres:

A cabin that encourages creativity and personal growth, as well as a strong focus on cabin bonding with a dash of competitivity ;D

Exciting, but not nerve racking, being storyline focused, and friendly, with lots of interactive projects and parts of the storyline that have campers work together.

A welcoming, competitive cabin that focuses on cabin bonding, writing skills, interaction with the storyline, and helping campers meet their goals.

i think something with cabin boding, competition, writing skills, and the interactive storyline would be perfect- would someone like to write up a draft of it? <3
