Haha! I've successfully made a basic forum scraper for this topic. You give it URLs, and it automatically scrapes the title, author, and whether the topic is still open! Now I don't have to check each open topic to see if it has since been closed!
and it automatically copies the whole post and replaces the list and stuff…so I literally run, edit, paste.

Yea but it's not fully automatic. I still have to provide the links, and copy the output into the forum post. I decided against getting all the links people post because I want to have control over that, and it's a pain to remove links from the list (for now) and I didn't want to get in trouble for making it fully unattended, bots for social actions and all. It'd probably be fine, but whatever. (Also it only scrapes the title from <title> elements, the author from the block on the first post, and whether it's still open by checking for the words “Follow Discussion”.)

After the outage of all of the 3.0 pages a few days ago, many people made duplicates of the first topic linked below, with no regard to the OG, even though it's stickied.
