ideas i had when outside ;D

first, question: are we good with either having 0 allies and/or two siblings?

idea for the roles:
detectives - can understand what happened in a scene (ex. (after relic discovered) “looking at this scene, i can say that someone was kidnapped here”)
historians (to be renamed) - can understand who owned this object and why it was in their possession (ex. (after relic discovered) “looking at this object, i can say that _ owned this object and they had it for _.” the person that owned each object could be a swcer.
after discovering a relic, asking both a detective and historian about the relic/scene can tell you who went missing and why.
i feel we should have at least two more roles!!


ideas for the in cabin currency:
okay so campers can collect the cabin currency like this for example:
camperusername { 75 ⌖ collected total } { current balance: 43 ⌖ }
so we can keep track of how many each person has earned and spent, and add their new ⌖ to both!! like money ;D


idea for the profile pictures:
okay so
each of us choose to have a washed out color (most likely either red or blue) for the main portion of the drawing. but certain things (either the lighting or a special accessory/feature) will be super saturated in the opposite color. like washed out blue with solid red hair, or washed out red with solid blue glasses, etc.
we can also have three main colors for our cabin, but we need something that goes with both blue and red (green is an option and so is purple, ideally not yellow as yellow is positive)

Requirements:
My idea for requirements is that the campers must introduce themself in the mystery cabin and select a role/skill!
This should be pretty easy, so I think a lot of people will do it–this way, I think people will be more motivated to hang out later in the session (like ‘oh i already did that earlier, so now i can do the storyline stuff without any trouble’), so we'll have more active campers, and I get to make more pfps ;D

Format:
I want to go for something similar to this project from Adventure, July 21.
I think the format is pretty easy, I can make the designs themselves ahead of time and then put it together–it shouldn't take long, but it's more personal than an icon creator.

hello!! i have started a section in the 17:10 canva for profile picture inspo (yes i went really overboard ahdkahdklakja and im not even done yet) <3 please take a look at it and let me know your thoughts either in this forum or in the comment window on the righthand side of the canva page

most everything is red (my original idea was for everything to be washed out blue with red accessories) but ofc campers will be able to choose their own colors !! <3

the images are just inspo, the drawings will be slightly different <3

Im on mobile right now but it looks great! I love the options especially the key necklaces <3 the only suggestion is maybe change option b for the tops to be a bit less revealing (i could see it potentially going against guidelines or being reported?) so maybe add a cloak on top or change it a bit? I was also thinking a hair dye option (split, streaks, etc.) would be really cool for the pfps (i can add photos if you’d like when i get home)? Otherwise it’s amazing <3

thank you!! i am planning for it to not have the slit in the middle so i can put a design there instead!! i can also put a cloak over it or a shirt under it–ill decide when i draw it <3

as for the name, i dont like mystery community as it doesnt quite mean the same thing as compound–but im good with either mystery compound or mystery relic hunters. one thing to consider is mystery relic hunters sounds more related to our storyline but a bit more generic, while mystery compound sounds more unique but makes the storyline more vague.

personally i like the idea of calling it the mystery compound and calling the campers relic hunters!!

i agree 100%!! hmm, we could do something where we all have the same role (like i would be lead detective or something you would both have different titles for the same role like apprentice detective) but it might be cooler if we all had our own unique roles!!

hi guys!! we need some more prizes for campers <3 so far we have profile pictures, profile banners, forum signatures, and the option to add a song to our official playlist :0 we need at least 2-3 more

an idea for camper prizes: i feel like we’ve exhausted the common ones, so maybe we could do an in plot one? an idea is that we have a project called relic storage or smt like that (perhaps it could be part of the map storage) and it could have space for everyone to keep their relics (like bookshelves?) and a prize could be upgrading the shelf/decor or something along those lines? there could be 2-3 prizes along those lines

If we don’t want to do that, then we could always have them start out as apprentice defectives/investigators/analysts, then they can advance to other positions that led them do better/more things with their role (role ideas overall could be trainee, apprentice, novice, associate, etc) which would also allow prize opportunities
