The _pride_ emoji duplicate
for some reason the other topic got closed, so time to continue the discussion. “I like the current pride emoji, but could you update it to include intersex? I feel like it would be more inclusive.”

The _pride_ emoji duplicate
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again
Adding intersex sets a standard for everyone to be included - now we need the trans flag and others in with it. The rainbow was meant to be flag that includes everyone.
When in reality, intersex is such a small percent of the LGBTQ community, and some would argue it’s not even LGBTQ since it’s generally not like anything else there.

Some of the emojis are already pretty detailed, so I don't think this would be an issue. If adding this would make some scratchers feel more accepted, I'd say it's a good thing to add.

It's only a couple pixels
It'll get out of hand and the reality is the emojis gonna take up half of the screen
And also this I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again

just make a variant of it, not replace the rainbow one
it’s called intersex inclusive but it’s not really *just* intersex, if you look at the arrows you’ll also see other flags

This can very easily lead into a slippery slope of niche sexualities (let's just say that some of them are significantly more accepted than others in the LGBTQ) asking to be accepted + the current emoji is already crowded enough

There’s only the intersex variant. It isn’t like the holiday suggestions, as there only exist the rainbow flag and the intersex inclusive variant This can very easily lead into a slippery slope of niche sexualities (let's just say that some of them are significantly more accepted than others in the LGBTQ) asking to be accepted + the current emoji is already crowded enough

Well, yes, (and I wouldn't object to the intersex flag being a separate emoji) but if the intersex flag were to be incorporated into the current _pride_ emoji then A) the intersex emoji would be too detailed and B) people of all niche sexualities (which some are more accepted than others, but I got alerted for talking about that earlier) would be chiming in to have their sexuality added to the _pride_ emoji. There’s only the intersex variant. I have already thought of the vexillogical nightmare that is a pride flag that is inclusive of literally everybody, and if the nightmare is already significant enough on a normal flag imagine that in emoji form! However, I would not object to having the intersex flag itself be a separate emoji.

I honestly cannot take this stuff anymore..
Edit: Also there is a version with intersex from what I can see, but..
I think it already includes trans, the current emoji uses the “progress pride flag” I believe. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again

this kind of view is probably part of why the intersex inclusive flag was designed in the first place. When in reality, intersex is such a small percent of the LGBTQ community, and some would argue it’s not even LGBTQ since it’s generally not like anything else there.

This could be used as an argument to why this would be so easy to implement, but I agree, it's useless. no support emojies are meant to not be detalied

I would like to point out that with the resolution and size; It’ll likely be nearly invisible, unless you were to zoom in.

Some of them are unconstructive, but they are also expressing their opinion on this kind of thing. Not that I support this movement. guys can we stop being so negative please, if you don't have something constructive to say don't say it
You're right about both of those things, though.

That's not entirely true! It's like adding black lives matter and then someone says “All Lives Matter!”. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again

Of course, everyone should be included! Everyone is equal! But adding one doesn't mean add them all. As long as we can advocate for people to support LGBTQ, we can spread love everywhere and in everyone!
With that, I support this suggestion!

Here's a list of things people are ignoring.
- the need to include everyone
- the resolution
- why bother?
