another reason for this: the forums make up less than 1% of all website activity.

So less forumers actually better represents Scratch as a whole, since most people using Scratch have never heard of the Scratch Discussion Forums.

I don't think the characters should know it's Kaj right off the bat. I think the newspaper should say “New bug infesting blocks. Coders advise others to not code until It's away.” or anything similar. I also don't think scratch cat should go to the studio mall already knowing their gonna get a newspaper. It's a bit on the nose. I think scratch cat should go to the mall expecting to go hang out with Gobo, but finds the newspaper and buys it. Then, scratch cat would go up to Gobo, show them the newspaper, and then Gobo would offer to help and so would their friends.
