Plot

The movie includes Scratch Cat, Gobo, and his friends.
The movie is about a mission to catch bugs, which are portrayed as flies infesting code blocks. this is why it is called “Quest for Bugs.”
The movie has 4 main areas: the Studio Mall, the Forums HQ, the Editor Lab, and the Project Island. The characters fight bugs in these areas. The bugs come from the Banlands, which the characters come to at the end to fight Kaj who is portrayed as a ghost Scratch Cat flying
Some side characters such as Scratch Cat Jr and Cosmicat appear in some scenes.

the forumers could make a cameo too. this means i might have a chance to be in the movie. we can portray the forumers as different types of scratch cats, making scratch cat basically a species.

well that's some cool art, but what we really need are animators, so you would need to draw every single frame just like that over a thousand times

that's cool music but idk if chiptune would be a great fit for all of it, maybe like a motif for a specific part or character, @PauloPlayzVA is a great composer currently writing the music for my game Space Cleaner so he could be one, but idk if he wants to.

all i did was cite the reason for a suggestion being rejected and now we’re all treating this like the world had a zombie invasion

uhhh ahhhehahahhahahaha- no. Animators simplify character art because of this same reason, so they don't need to draw the little microscopic mole on the specific position on someone's arm 300 times or something.

it is based off the eggs loop.
this is only an early version though, and i am working on the song a lot more.

edit: my dad also has a midi keyboard he sometimes lets me use. when i get the hang of it i can compose songs freely without using a trackpad.

no not really, we can have different animators for each character and a dedicated one for the background

also it's really easy to animate, just use vector instead of bitmap

1,000 is a really big number. i would love to animate for this if it didn't mean making 1,000 drawings. it's just unreasonable.

it's really hard to animate well

this short thing took me only 3 days, by myself, and like 60% of the time it was my frame-by-frame lip sync because I think that lip sync engines look bad, and the rest for the smooth animation

if we have multiple animators working simultaneously there's no doubt it will be better and take shorter

yeah thats what i said, with many people. maybe we don't need to make such perfect lip sync, but the scratch saga, even though its interesting and fun, still not that smooth.

also how dare you insult my green cube like that, it's actually a cube not rectangle!1!!!11!1111111 /hj

also i already said the characters will be vector, infinitely easier to animate and manipulate.
