At this point - it's too early to really say what the pros and cons of generative AI on Scratch might be. Maybe we should wait until the team has done some exploration and has some results before we leap to judgement. It has been stated here that the Scratch Team doesn't plan to add generative AI to Scratch any time in the near future.
