Hello, and welcome to the forum thread of a new and upcoming story/game series on Scratch!

You’ve probably noticed I said story/game. Well- uhh- I’m not the best at coding, so I’m still unsure of the whole ‘rhythm game’ part of this yet. I might also make some small minigames for the series, since those are easier and within my level of comfort and knowledge. Mainly though, I want to focus on the storyline and characters. That being said, I should probably give you some background information about this project and the franchise.

About UNIVERSTAGE: Fantasize Hour:

UNIVERSTAGE started as a little fictional rhythm game, living in nothing else but Yume’s imagination. Characters were made on a character creator site, and the voice actors were… other characters of mine. Yes, it’s a bit complicated, but basically, I wanted to extend this series into Scratch, and make an entire new game without using anything from the previous two, only this time it’s not just a bunch of characters and their names and personalities ans stuff, but a full-fledged series with all the storylines and actual different voice actors for the characters. Possibly also separate projects for songs and the rhythm game charts, if we can manage that. It’s not all going to be in one big project, that’s for sure.

Fantasize Hour Info and Notes:

- Each unit represents a certain period of time in a day, in which each member represents an hour.
- There are three subgroups of units based off the time of day: Morning, Afternoon, and Night.

Voice Actor Rules and Notes:

- You can voice more than one character, up to three at maximum.
- Alt accounts also count into the three, whether you’d like to be credited separately for multiple voices is up to you. Be sure to say so in the form that the account is an alt of yours if you've already signed up on your main!
- If you want to voice more than one, please use another voice/range (natural voice acting, no voice changers please ^^) for the sake of character diffrenciation.
- You can state ‘no preference’ if you don't have a specific character in mind- I do have a rough idea of how I want them to sound so I’ll suggest a few for you and you can pick from there.
- YOU MIGHT NOT GET YOUR MOST WANTED CHARACTER! I will decide based off of preference and voice, as well as range and pronunciation.
- I would prefer if unit leaders could have very good Japanese pronunciation ^^ (I mean- I’d love everyone to- but I understand it's not easy-)
- Also keep in mind that unit leaders tend to have more lines ;0
- Some side characters will be voiced by the main voice actors, I’ll assign you to them when needed. (Yes, this is another area where multiple voices come into play-)
- I will start assigning characters after five signups, so please tell your friends and spread the word so we can get everything sorted out faster!!
- also please don't be surprised if i ask you to record your lines again but harmonize or go an octave lower/higher cause it will help the song sound a lot better tysm :,0

Songs and MVs:

Because Yume (, aka I, ) cannot compose, most songs will be cover songs. These will be announced a little later, after I’ve finalized the starter list. However, I am thinking to add events, and for that we might need a few original songs. If you’d like to be a composer, please fill in the form, which is also in the post below ;D

And of course, I’d love to have MVs made for the songs as well. Well- not all of them, that'd be too much work xD But some. For that, we’ll need character art, which means we’ll need artists. Wait! Before you click off- Now, I understand that drawing more than one character at once is a lot of work, and let's be honest, I kind of dread doing it myself :,D, so I get that doing this for free might not seem like the best offer for you. Plus- I’d feel bad if you as the artist didn't feel good about it, so I’d be happy to come up with something that works for both of us if you'd like! ^^ Write your wishes in the ‘Notes’ section of your artist form and we'll get something settled.

Story Summary:
Ever since Utsuno Yunori moved to a new school, she's met not a single friend but seemingly a million enemies. It's no surprise she's resorted to going online and attempting to start her own cover group.

Story Summary:
Netsutoji Kokomi was never happy with herself, which is why she goes undercover as an online cover artist under her codename, NEKO, and alternate ego. Everything was kept a safe secret, until someone approaches her at school one day with the request to form a band.

Shiroma Kira had never thought of becoming an idol until she gets scouted after school one day to become a trainee. Torn between the harsh realities of the industry and the new friends she's made, she knows she's gotta make a decision.

as many as you can in different ranges, if that's possible! and yes, do try to sing in the character's voice or get as close as possible ^^
