How to make a Scratch Project an app!
Have you wanted to make an app an easy way but many websites ask you to pay or they're too hard? Well, Heres the solution to making your OWN APP WITH SCRATCH! (and turbowarp)
I use this feature to publish my games.
Get the project you want, i used this: https://scratch-mit-edu.ezproxyberklee.flo.org/projects/832415900/ (Sushi Slice)
in a new tab, go to https://turbowarp.org
Press File.
Press Package Project
Select Scratch project ID or url
paste your url (Note that it has to be shared)
press load wait for it.
Select these on (turn all others off) ( Infinite clones, Close window when project stops, Start project automatically instead of showing a big green flag)
Then customize anything else but if you want to make your app/game without the Flag and stop sign bar, you have to keep Fullscreen, Flag, and Stop off
go to enviroment and change it to electron Windows or Mac bc it works best (whichever you are using) (may be in Other Enviroments section)
Name the package “Project Name” instead of "project-name-mobile-friendly-etc.
Change the version to any other one you want or just keep it 1.0.0
press Package Project
It will load for a bit depending on what project you want to do
Then download it (it comes as a zip)
it will say a warning
press close
right click on the app and press open
press open anyway
And there you go! you can publish it via GitHub or your own website (for free on wix.com but you need to sign up with an email)
Hope you found this helpful!
