The Official Super Fighter Re:Tournament DEMO Thread
You can go to the sr youtube and go to the shorts tab, All the characters are showcased there! If you wouldn't mind telling us what are the characters for the actual game besides gnaw and edward.

I've found a weird bug that I am not sure how to trigger but sometimes I can get edward's c1 to turn around. I seriously don't know how it triggers but it randomly happened twice while I was playing survival mode. the first time it happened off screen so I don't know what happened to the ball but it randomly turned around, the second time I managed to get over the ball with a really high jump and then it turned around. I'm seriously confused about this but I'll try to recreate it in training mode for now.

some settings I think would be useful for the full game would be the ability to disable using up to jump and setting jump to it's own button(this would make doing up tilts without jumping easier). Another one would be to “prioritize neutral over side” so if you're holding up and left/right at the same time this setting will control whether you get an up air or a side air. also being able to set the combo gauge to infinite would be nice so you won't have to keep resetting manually would be nice for labbing.

Go into the controls, and while you're over “menu controls” press right to change to player controls. In there, you can set whether Up is Jump and you can also set a dedicated jump button. some settings I think would be useful for the full game would be the ability to disable using up to jump and setting jump to it's own button(this would make doing up tilts without jumping easier). How do you submit a score to the scoreboard at sctatchrunning.com? I have a screenshot and video of a good edward run on beginner.

If you're a Scratcher (like you are), submitting a score automatically happens when you finish a run. Just make sure you're logged in and that you haven't looked inside the project before playing, cause that will turn off cloud functionality. I now realize that it is intentional and triggered by hitting the snowball

Actually, if what you're describing is what I think it is, then it's actually not intentional. That said, it's so hard to recreate that we didn't get to fixing it yet

Edit: mb didn't see there was a second page
3 of the others are Arc, Phantom, and Xavier, the other three from the original SFT. The 6th character is unknown as of now If you wouldn't mind telling us what are the characters for the actual game besides gnaw and edward.

I think a more standard “story mode” type thing might be nice for the full release. Something more battle per battle oriented compared to survival

time to become a scratcher
my account is 9 months old but I'm still a “new” scratcher so no cloud variables for me

cloud variables might still be wonky (I know they haven't been working properly for a while; not sure if anything has changed) but you do need to be a scratcher in order for your scores to show up on the scratchrunning leaderboards :p still a “new” scratcher so no cloud variables for me

ST hasn't released the full requirements for being a full Scratcher, but what I did to get my alt to Scratcher status (relatively) quickly was just post random projects, favorite my main acc's projects, and follow myself. I assume ST wants you to just do stuff and hopefully you'll become a full Scratcher

Found a bug, when you change the volume for SFX on the pause menu, the sounds the moves make aren't affected. I was turning the SFX all the way down to listen to the new Battlefield music (a banger), and while hit sounds, shields/parries, and KOs are muted, the sounds that characters make as they do their moves (e.g. Edward dattack's rolling sound, Gnaw c1's fire breathing sound) were not muted.

I enjoy the demo very much. Much more than the original game! All the updates have greatly improved the game! However, the music seems to be gone, as it now only plays the theme when opening the game! The levels have no soundtracks! While adding sounds, perhaps you could also add some menu music, as the silence is a bit boring. Otherwise, this game is a 13/10 game demo. For the REAL one, I would just copy the existing demo and add in everything from the old SFT game and more.
