Make report profile look like the main site report

So, if you try to report a profile (you can test it on mine) then it has the old blocky thing that we used for a while. I think it should be changed to look like the other ones, I made a mockup too.

I checked ocular, but im pretty sure this is a dupe. If you find something older than this let me know so I can give them my mockup.

I think this is just something with profile pages still being scratch 2.0, you still get the old report box for profile comments too

I don't really see anything wrong with it besides it being “old” — something being old isn't necessarily a bad thing either.

I know, but I have OCD and things like this become annoying. I would be content if they were to revert back to the old look, too but i think people would be more accepting of the new one.

technically this is already being implemented. The profile page is still scratchr2/scratch-2.0 which is why report doesn’t match the main site. Scratch will eventually one day update it to 3.0 so this is already planned on being implemented.

Let's say the word “Code” is a really bad word. What if I start curating a bunch of studios that are just letters with their icon and it spells out the word code in your studios following section. There are a few reasons to report a profile like profile picture, about me, WIWO, and username. So how exactly do you even report this correctly? Now, the new version allows you to report with an “other” reason which you can type out why. It's really not because of the new look, it's because it is outdated and need some overhauls.

The correct way would be through Contact Us.

However, contact us takes a long time to get a reply from and isn't reliable enough for reporting.

I don't really understand this, as somebody could also get bothered by the new design and want that to change

then why would we change the look of it then if it's not the one causing the problems? wouldn't it be more reasonable to just add those features onto the current report look?

If I'm not mistaken, an “other” option on profile reports has been rejected because people would use it to report comments and stuff instead of directly reporting those (not in TOLORS though).

Also, I would not want a new profile report UI because you can drag the current one and I think that's really cool. The 3.0 report UI doesn't have that.

That is a good point. Could you provide me a link to the forum post that says it isn't allowed, though?

it just seemed like a regular reason to not support, so there didn’t seem to be any reason to respond

Here's a rejection post that I found. It's old, but it seems like it's still rejected today.

It's actually more of a reason for the topic to be closed because there's no point in suggesting something that's already being implemented.

I don't think 3.0 studios even have an other option though. Also, 2.0 did have an other option, I remember, and you could type.
