I get they want to help begginers, but what about if they want to make a complicated game? There is others but ST is the most used in my opinion.

Specifically what do you consider “advanced”? For some, a platformer is advanced, for some, a physics engine is advanced, for some a 3D engine, then for some, it'd be literally remaking online terreria or some other funky games.

Yes, but there's an awesome platform called:

✨YouTube✨

If it's blocked, look up the video ID and implement it in SafeShare.

I think you're right, all the ST tutorials are EXTREMELY basic. We could use something like that for sure.

Scratch tutorials are mean to be basic because they are for very new Scratchers that don't know how to code yet. Plus, making it more advance breaks the simple and fun theme of Scratch.

Youtube is free, Google is free, & Even the Search bar on the top of the screen of this website is free

You can already find more advanced scratch tutorials elsewhere, and even on scratch
You don't even need to directly look up a tutorial, try analysing code from simple projects and learn how they work

i didn't mean a 3D MMO, etc., just a platformer or text engine etc.

Yes, well, as stated above, it's really not meant to be more complex.

In a sense, it's “building the foundation” of your experience with coding so that later on you can make more complex projects. Adding more complex tutorials does not help. It just puts things that you can experiment with and teach yourself - into just a tiny slideshow. In fact, I taught myself Scratch!

Also stated above (by the same person, quote below), making complex, built-in tutorial ruins the simplicity and fun of Scratch.

i think tutorials should be seperated into two - simple and complex
