Ability to see if a user has deleted their account or not
99.99% a dupe This is NOT a duplicate of this topic, this is a topic asking to show if your account is deleted on the Scratch interface and NOT on the 404 error screen.
What the title says.
Anyway, for a bit more context, when a user is deleted, it will show on their projects, next to their username when they comment, and in studios or other places where their username is stated that their account is deleted.
This will be an option, and here's a mockup (from @SpyCoderX)

I have to text art this:
Comment:
@username | Account Deleted
wow this game is so cool
Project:
Project Title
by @username | Account Deleted
Studio:
Curator/Manager
username
Account Deleted

Ability to see if a user has deleted their account or not
The way you phrased this is a bit confusing- (the image may have also mixed me up a bit haha-)
From the way you phrased this, I feel like you're saying that there should be 3 options?
1. Keep my projects, turn off comments, and display that this account is deleted
2. Keep my projects, turn off comments, and don't display that this account is deleted
3. Delete my projects
If the account and projects are deleted theres nowhere this would display anyways, I don't think? I think fully deleted accounts lose all their comments too, although I could be wrong about this.
I don't honestly think there should be a option as far as displaying it goes- I feel like it should either be implemented with all deleted accounts or none. The variation doesn't make sense and is an unnecessary choice imo.
–> If you're just saying that all accounts whose projects are still up should have a “account deleted” warning of some sort, I think that would be helpful and clarify a lot for the people on the project. Support.

I don't understand
when you delete your account, the page becomes invalid, so can't you already know this by seeing that the account doesn't exist anymore?

If you still want your projects to be shared but the comments to be off, then why can't you just turn all of your comments off and leave Scratch?

SUPPORT. This would be great for people who want to change their username by creating a new account.

bump.
I think this can be useful for something like moving to another account and you could have people know that you moved because it tells you that the account is deleted. I'm giving a support.

This will be an option, and here's a mockup (i can't add a third bullet point someone make a better mockup PLZ):
(crappy image because I didn't want to display project's I'm working on)

It should also prompt the user with the same message if they get banned.

What's your reason for supporting this suggestion? -snap- Also, please don't quote the op.
Sounds like a great idea to me!

I didn't see the image bc my school blocks image host sites, but I think this should appear on your profile too, like next to your region.
Ex.
United States | Account Deleted
Also, I think there should be an option whether you want to keep your profile open or not. Otherwise, support!

If the account is still open, then is the account really “deleted”?

The account isn't really deleted if other users can still see it. It's just inaccessible. If the account is still open, then is the account really “deleted”?
