Wow… it's surprising how this is a thing. The safety of children (and non-children for that matter, but that's irrelevant right now) is very important. On scratch, it's essential that the users are protected. This is probably one of the fullest supports I've given.

im pretty sure face revealing isnt allowed on scratch, and this issue causes children to unknowingly reveal their face. not only are they revealing their private information, they are also breaking a scratch rule. if scratch wants to protect the privacy of children and also allow them to follow the rules, this really should be implemented. this is the greatest suggestion i have seen in the past year

This is a definate issue with allowing privacy and keeping your identity safe from the bad actors online. I once noticed that there were these kinds of projects when I came across several profiles (not trying to be a weirdo, but just out of curiousity), and some of them were face reveals. There's also the project where griffpatch did this with his face (despite it being used for learning purposes? Who know exactly).

I think that this should definately come into affect as these projects using the webcam feature could get their location from where they are currently at exposed and leaked.

You should likely pass this over to Contact-Us instead, it'd probably be noticed faster in contrast to just constantly bumping the thread here, where there's a chance it wouldn't be noticed from other topics being bumped down - Moderators don't always have time to be jumping around the forums and pass over issues like this rather than the report que.

It was in the suggestion forum but it got moved to bugs and glitches for some reason while I was gone even though this is a design flaw instead of an error.
