Move closed topics to a separate archive forum.
Introduction
One thing I've noticed is that if you go to the older pages they are filled with closed topics. After a week or two they should move themselves to another category called archives to prevent clutter. The ST should also be able to make a closed topic go to the archives immediately or quicker than a week, and prevent them from going into the archive forum. When going into the archive forum it would get a suffix that states what subforum it was initially in.
Main Idea
They shouldn't be deleted because then people can't refer back to them, but they should be taken to a separate forum to prevent the original from becoming cluttered. The person who created the topic should be able to force it to the archive 24 hours after the topic is closed if they want it gone early. When a topic is moved to the archive, it gets a suffix depending on what category it was originally in. For example, if “apple” was in suggestions but it was closed and archived, in the archive area it would be this: "apple - Suggestions". This would of course not apply to stickies.
In a Nutshell
After topics are closed for a week, the creator of the closed topic decides to, or the ST makes it happen early, closed topics are moved to an archive to prevent clutter. The ST can also disable the auto-archive for posts, eg in the announcements forum. The name would have a suffix added to it, like if “apple” got closed and it was in the suggestions forum, in the archive it would look like "apple - Suggestions".
Other Summary
Thanks to @spookily and @Roblox888i for the moving it to a separate group rather than deleting idea.
Credit to @Roblox888i for the creator of the topic being able to move their closed topic to the archive after a day.
Thanks to @z10r for telling me about the dustbin
Thanks to MountY_Backup for indication of which subforum it was in
(P.S., I want to hear people's opinion on this. Don't feel shy about replying, this suggestion is by no means perfect and could use polishing and improvement. Also this will only apply to the suggestions forum, QaS, and BaG.)

Other Summary
Here you go, this is the summary: User has suggested implementing a system where closed topics on older pages automatically move to an “archives” category after a week or two to prevent clutter. They propose that moderators (ST) should have the ability to expedite this process or move closed topics directly to archives. Additionally, users suggest that closed topics shouldn't be deleted entirely but rather moved to archives so people can still reference them. Authors of closed topics should also have the option to force them into archives after 24 hours, and they would recieve a suffix depending on which subforum they started in.

Hm, good point.
Maybe rather than being deleted it could be moved to an archive of some sort?

Great idea! I'll add that to the original post.

Adding on, maybe after 24 hours, the form owner can like force it to the archive forum

This makes sense, but it should still be automatic after a week too.

Isn’t this a semidupe of my topic called “unlist dupe topics to prevent clutter” (no link cuz it’s far back)

Doesn't look like this dupes that… I am talking about moving them to a separate area, not unlisting them, and not specifically dupes.

I'm assuming that an exception would be made for stickies and topics in the Announcements forum, is this correct?

Yep, the ST should be able to make it so they aren't moved. Maybe I should clarify that in the original post.

Support. This would be a neat-to-have forum for looking back at old and closed topics and not having to find them mixed in with new and active ones.
