Ban the use of solely AI on the forums.
⭐ ;; there's tools you can use to detect ai in writing though..? If something contributes to the discussion and wouldn't get removed for spam anyway, there's no good way to determine if it's AI or not, so this rule would be unenforceable.

Rejecting text just because it's made by an AI is plain rude and discriminatory.⭐ ;; there's tools you can use to detect ai in writing though..? Also, those tools sometimes falsely flag people, and many were bodged together by an inexperienced programmer who lives in a basement.

Of course, im saying that would be allowed, but AI ONLY posts, not posts that use AI to assist them in sharing a person's own thoughts, would be disallowed. No support. You can use ChatGPT to make a post more understandable. For example, if a person from a foreign country makes a post with clunky English using google translate or something similar, you can use ChatGPT to make it more understandable.

You can't necessarily discriminate against somebody who doesn't exist.Rejecting text just because it's made by an AI is plain rude and discriminatory.⭐ ;; there's tools you can use to detect ai in writing though..? But yeah, the tools that you use to detect ai in writing are just plain terrible, inputting the first few sentences of, say, the Declaration of Independence would be flagged as AI.

(#64)I'd suggest that you make it a bit more clear in the OP, how about a bit of a note at the top of the OP, for example:
Of course, im saying that would be allowed, but AI ONLY posts, not posts that use AI to assist them in sharing a person's own thoughts, would be disallowed.
Though you should perhaps reword that as I'm not the magicman that gets told that he has funny wordsPLEASE READ: This is only suggesting to ban the use of AI on the forums for posts that don't contribute with human thoughts to the discussion
but the title could also be renamed, perhaps to
"Ban the use of AI ONLY if the use of it is intended to not contribute with human thoughts to the discussion" so it's more obvious
just reccomending, I've left my thoughts already here and can't contribute anything else to the discussion lol
and again like I said above, though you should perhaps reword that as I'm not the magicman that gets told that he has funny words
EDIT: Wish people bothered to read OP tho

If you mean where people just copy and paste the question into chat gpt suppport. I think phrasing is fine as long as it’s read over, but answering a question with an unneeded long response that doesn’t even answer it properly is annoying and spammy

I think unconstructive use of AI should be banned rather than all uses

I think this suggestion is to ban accounts that say they are AI. And I'd like to see AI actually contribute to a discussion for once, let alone do better than the user in control. If something contributes to the discussion and wouldn't get removed for spam anyway, there's no good way to determine if it's AI or not, so this rule would be unenforceable.

If a user is still sharing their own thoughts, but need a bit of assistance from AI, (can't think of a way to phrase it, not fluent in that language, etc.) I think that's okay. But when a user asks AI to come up with thoughts FOR them, then you end up with a post that is long, often unconstructive, and sometimes just hard to understand. If you mean where people just copy and paste the question into chat gpt suppport. I think phrasing is fine as long as it’s read over, but answering a question with an unneeded long response that doesn’t even answer it properly is annoying and spammy

Boo!
Even though that some people may disagree on the topic of whether AI is sentient or not, it is important to be civil or this topic may be closed like the customizable header one was.

OWN thoughts will still be allowed to use it.I noticed this edit was made to the original post. Seems like the scope of the suggestion was changed, but for something that is more or less in place (obvious spamming not allowed, AI or not), so I'm closing this thread since the latest posts (which I removed) regarding the suggestion are severely off-topic and antagonistic. By banning “Solely AI” i mean posts or accounts that are made just because they are AI. Those who have disabilites or those who are unable to properly convey their
