For those who know any game lore, are there any characters you think the anime handled better or worse?
I think Brock and Misty became much more interesting characters in the anime
While I think N's well intentioned anti villain character got severely flattened into a perfect hero, which is ironically the whole point of his game character, his sense of black and white morality

Idk if anyome here is anime only / knows no BW game lore but Game N is a whole other ballpark, he's just as polite and sweet in terms of personality but his goals are insane and he's very misguided, he's one of my favorite game characters
I really wish the anime wrote N in with his moral complexities, it would've been so interesting, presented N's actual character on screen, and made a really good arc for Ash (in the game, N thinks training is abusive, and unlike in the anime, refuses to believe otherwise to the point where he becomes champion just to stay in denial, and the player's arc is proving him wrong)

bw1 screwed up the story they were going for by making N battle you in the end of the game
