Make projects run up to 240 fps instead of 30 fps
id love this, but it would break most advanced projects as they rely on 30fps to time things instead of using seconds or something like that
in factwait (0) secswaits one frame, this would also make projects with custom blocks lag more because its running the warp so much faster
also like 70% of all screens have a 60hz refresh rate, and im not 100% sure but i think web browsers are usally limited to 60hz as well
so really the best they could do is 60fps, that would make alot of sense as most programs tend to run natively at 60fps
Use Turbowarp.

We're asking for something to be added to Use Turbowarp.SCRATCH not TURBOWARP.
Also, my school district blocks TurboWarp. What about those people?

I mean that just use Turbowarp and because of that there's no reason to accept this suggestion. We're asking for something to be added to Use Turbowarp.SCRATCH not TURBOWARP.

Some districts can block Scratch too, what about those people?
Some districts can block Google too, what about those people?
Some districts can block browsers too, what about those people?

Falcon if they block Scratch then it doesn't even matter if Scratch exists.
240 FPS would allow much smoother graphics which like quite nice. Some nice optimizations would also be in order.

1. There is nothing Scratch can do about this.I mean that just use Turbowarp and because of that there's no reason to accept this suggestion. We're asking for something to be added to Use Turbowarp.SCRATCH not TURBOWARP.

2. Why is this Scratch's problem?

Just because you can use another website doesn't make it so it can't come here. And I'm telling you right now, half of Scratchers don't know of TurboWarp. I used Scratch for seven years, and I only heard of it last year.I mean that just use Turbowarp and because of that there's no reason to accept this suggestion. We're asking for something to be added to Use Turbowarp.SCRATCH not TURBOWARP.
Also, my school district blocks TurboWarp. What about those people?
If they block Scratch, then none of this matters to them. Why should we care for them? Some districts can block Scratch too, what about those people?
What about them? What does Google have to do with this? You can't even get to Scratch if you block Google, so why should we care for those people? Some districts can block Google too, what about those people?
What do browsers have to do with Scratch? And if your school district blocks Some districts can block browsers too, what about those people?browsers, then how would you get to Scratch in the first place?
I will say it again, saying “just use another website” is not a good reason to not support a suggestion. Most people on this site do not know of those other websites, and just because you can use another website doesn't mean it shouldn't be added here.

I am not saying that I don't support this suggestion, I am pretty sure I semi-support this. Alright then. Thank you for the clarification. I am not saying that I don't support this suggestion, I am pretty sure I semi-support this. I am just offering alternative solutions.

Google isn't a web browserWhat about them? What does Google have to do with this? You can't even get to Scratch if you block Google, so why should we care for those people? Some districts can block Google too, what about those people?
Just note that Scratch would need to make sure that the FPS doesn't speed up the project too much, and that may require considerable changes to the rendering system 240 FPS would allow much smoother graphics which like quite nice. Some nice optimizations would also be in order.

It's a search engine. Almost everyone uses Google, so if it was banned, it'd be very hard to find Scratch.Google isn't a web browserWhat about them? What does Google have to do with this? Isn't that basically turbo mode but faster, 30 fps makes projects not break by moving sprites

The servers have loads of workload;I believe all of the processing of Scratch projects is done on your computer - it is not done on Scratch servers. The servers store the project and run the website itself, but not the project code. So there won't be any impact on Scratch servers if you are running the project at a higher frame rate.
