What about people who don't have webcams? This sort of applies to me, as the only device that I actively use for scratch that has a webcam is my Surface Go.

video sensing already exists as an extension, and it uses a webcam. should they remove that?

Well, keyboard blocks exist though a number of scratchers uses mobile devices.
