Pyratch - A lightweight reader frontend for Scratchers [new topic]
Pyratch - A lightweight reader frontend for Scratchers
Did you want to get some information about a ST member for example, you just wanted to know their most latest follower but there's all this stuff that's preventing you from easily seeing the content, Pyratch removes all of that with just a lightweight frontend entirely written in Python Flask. You can download Pyratch from GitHub at https://github.com/EngineerRunner/Pyratch.
Over the upcoming releases, we plan to add these features as a must (and more):
- Being able to view more things like projects and studios (half implemented)
- Being able to interact with the Scratch forums!
- Being able to login and control your profile from Pyratch!
If you run into any issues, it is most likely an error with the codebase. However, before opening an issue on Github (the best way to get an issue noticed, as I will probably see it before Scratch), try updating Flask and ScratchAttach, and make sure you are on the latest Pyratch version.
This thread is for feedback, constructive criticism, feature request, planning and basically everything else related to Pyratch. Please be civil and don't be rude, reply with constructive criticism and valid feedback. If you don't like Pyratch, don't rant about it here, just don't use it.
(by the way, if anybody is confused, I'm maintaining Pyratch now)

So you check GitHub before Scratch, I am the opposite. I check Scratch then GitHub. Anyways, HAPPY MAINTAINER TRANSFER!

It feels weird seeing two threads with the same name with one of them closed. You should rename this to something like "Pyratch - A lightweight reader frontend for Scratchers [NEW THREAD]".

thanks! the codebase is really well written, i agree with the “no comments” policy already, i'm gonna have to make sure all the future code is just as readable So you check GitHub before Scratch, I am the opposite. I check Scratch then GitHub. Anyways, HAPPY MAINTAINER TRANSFER!

Because I can't commit without being a collaborator as it tells me I can't push anything to pyratch as I also need to fix something in the main branch
