Purple Highlighting

Plain and simple - when you select text, the background should be purple.

But I don't like purple!
There's no turning back now, Scratch is rebranding to purple and the whole site should reflect that.
Why does the highlight color need changing?
The highlights are already custom. Why not change the color?
I want this feature now!

I hate bookmarklets and I hate purple!
Woah woah woah there, calm down. You don't need to use the bookmarklet and you can't change the purple anyway. Ask yourself, would you rather have one color or have two?

It's simple. Purple highlights are cool and they fit in, and the highlight color is already non-default.

Support cause themes and all that but there should be some css trick to actually make it scratch purple instead of a weak purple (thats what i see for me at least)

my issue with the purple is that they changed a thing that didn't need to be changed and it's now throwing everyone for a loop and blue scratch is more iconic than purple scratch
there is going back, if we make ourselves loud enough maybe scratch will actually listen

It's transparent just like the original blue. If you'd like I can change it to have none.

EDIT: Changed it anyway. It's more like default but the purple is more visible.

From what I've heard, the wiki lets you change the color theme easily. Why not just copy the code over?

Sorry if I'm dumb, but you said nothing about priority.
If this new theme is accessible as an option, then I don't think lawyers have much of a case for suing here.
We already have the code for this, just move it over.
