In programming, a string is usually a text or number value. Scratch doesn't care about the difference between strings, integers, real numbers, etc. so you don't need to worry

You should focus on improving your skills, then your collaborations will be easier to organise.

How to change your signature:

Go to the forums (The first page you see, not the collaboration forums or anything else)
Scroll down to the bottom of the page.
Look for the text “Change your signature” and click on it.
Then change your signature and save!
