There’s a lot of buttons on Scratch that have many different functions. Like quoting, commenting, replying to a comment, etc. That’s great and all, but what about actual buttons? Like for example. If a scratcher wanted to click on a link, they’d have to zoom all the way in if they had a small or potable device like a phone (iPhone or Android). My suggestion, is that the links should be changed into actual buttons, and not just plain links with text. Having buttons will show a bigger display to that scratcher who is looking at the screen and makes clicking them easier.

I also think that having buttons over links in comments looks better on the 3.0 version of a Scratchers' profile.

Links that are needed to be changed:

• The quote button and report button, and the go back button in the forums. (All in bubble margins)
  

• The delete and report button in the comments. (Both in bubble margins)

(I couldn't adjust the button's heights, so I'm stuck with these for now until ST or myself can fix it, even though CSS will be hard to understand for me).

(Note: this is not to spark any kind of controversy, but I just suggest a simple link-to-button conversion, that’s all).

Support! I use scratch on my computer, but since tons of people use scratch on their phones, it would make things much more accessible.

I think that the “Quote” one could maybe look like the Reply button in comments. The “Report” one could look like the Report button in comments except purple and with the same “bolded” font.

Do you mean “Scratch 2.0”? Because yesterday, all I found when looking up that was Scratch 2.0.

I support this, sometimes (especially on mobile) its extremely hard to click those links. Another workaround for this (instead of making big buttons) would be to make the hitbox for the links bigger, and I like that better (unless I'm missing something).

there is no such thing as hitbox for links on text though
it adapts to the text size, same for images

Oh, my mistake then- but couldn't you make the background around the links be the link as well?

Scratch 2.0 pages use something called scratchr2, which has a repository, but we can't see it because it's privated at the moment for some legacy reasoning that I don't remember. However, they must have been able to edit it if the purple showed up too here.

Support! The scratch website on phone is hard to use let alone following links.

Only support if buttons are squircles.

Or just increase their touch target, you know… add some more padding but don't make them white on purple, that would be distracting.
