Wii U/ 3DS like dual screen function.
Before you say it, this is NOT Scratch for the Wii U or 3ds, since that's impossible and rejected. What I mean instead is making it so you could code something like the wii u and the gamepad. So you can hook a device to a tv via Bluetooth or cables, and then code on multiple interfaces. So you could have a map and the game deplayed, for example. I think this would be a good feature to add, even if it might not be too realistic.

I don't want to be that guy, but isn't the wii u from several years ago? Anyway, this sounds like a cool feature.
I can see there are flaws however, like for one the wii u's are no longer selling, and two, scratch team at mit are non-profit, and three, Nintendo might sue Scratch without legal authorization using their hardware.

But I thought that the Wii U has no Bluetooth option?

A. It does not connect to the Wii U, it connects to the TV
B. It does, have you ever played Wii?

A. I wasn't sure if it did either way.
B. I didn't know it connects until I looked it up on Google. And yes, starting out with Nintendo, I had a Wii.

It would let you code 2 screens. Which would open several possibilities.

(#11)Oh. So what you're suggesting is to have a split screen option or block with code that can split your screen (project stage) like the Wii U does? That might be somewhat simple I guess.

Yes! Exactly! And then you can code both screens.

I just think this would be a good way to show how to code on multiple interfaces.

Considering that those posts were from July 7th (last year), it would require Bluetooth to be to connect on or connecting via gamepads/controllers, but either way, your statement is true. actually, the Wii U connects to the gamepad via LAN.

Look, I did some rethinking, I think you could have an option for Bluetooth or split screens. It would probably be like
Stuff like that. It lets you code on multiple interfaces. It would be really cool to add. IT IS NOT SCRATCH FOR WII U!!!
