It's a solid extension, but the expensive costs of Apple Watches these days are enough for this extension to not get the attention it deserves to, rather than the expense of buying a microBit or Makey Makey for school property use.

I don't know a lot about costs with these technical things so please inform me if the statement above doesn't quite make sense.

It probably just stops whenever the stop sign is pressed like any other “do action for _” block. I think that's a viable enough solution just in case anybody decides to abuse that block via the method above.

That question is for the nurses around the user's area.

I doubt Scratch would want to take responsibility when somebody has a medical emergency about high heart-rate. Scratch is just a humble coding website and doesn't have any involvement in medication rather than hospital who take note of every second on what's happening locally.

Why would it need an app? Couldn’t it connect another way, like the makey makey?

Support, this would be a cool idea for fitness stuff and games making you move around, there should also be a block that makes your character move across the screen with you, so people could make mazes or chasing games.

I have a FitBit. Think about it, Samsungs are too expensive for kids. Internet access is too expensive for kids. Housing is too expensive for kids (especially where I live).
